Sexuality

Everyone knows that men and women are different.  We look and act different.  In class we have been learning about sexuality and what you do and don't want your child to know about sex education.
There are 3 different hormones
oxytocin-a sense of closeness
Dopamine-sense of excitement
Seritonin-sense of well-being
I think that children should have their parents teach about sex.  Not the schools, other family, or peers.  I want to come to me with questions and not have it be awkward.  I will also tell about the plan of salvation and how we need to have a body and to have a family.

So it's been several weeks since I have updated but here is what I have been learning in class.  Nowadays teenagers have a hard time distinguishing between hanging out and dating.  But there are three things that will help determine if it's a date.  The first is if you are paired off with someone else, if it's a planned activity, and if it's paid for.  I think that these are good reasons that it's a date.
We also talked about if the proposal is important and if it's necessary to have the guy talk to the father first. We thought it was a sign of respect and a way to connect with the family.
